Jeremy Walden
Lead Pastor

Pastor Jeremy Walden is known for his passion for God and people. He was called to preach at the age of twelve. He knew right away that God had something great in store for him. Previously, he served as the youth pastor of The Brimfield Church. He is now the lead pastor at The Hill Church in Brimfield, Ohio, where he has served since 2014.

Seeing people connect with Jesus is what drives Pastor Jeremy. Outreach in the community is at the core of Pastor Jeremy’s vision and he is dedicated to sharing the love of God with residents throughout Northeast Ohio.​

PJ Maggard
​Youth Pastor

Pastor PJ has been attending The Hill since about 2012. He's been saved since he was 12 and felt the call to preach shortly after that. He began preaching closer to age 16. Pastor PJ has also served as the Kids Pastor here at The Hill and has been serving as the Youth Pastor since 2018. He and his wife, Devan, have been married since 2019.

Matthew Brode
​Kids' Pastor

Pastor Matt has been at The Hill Church for over 20 years. He has a heart for God and dedicates a lot of time towards The Hill Kids and making sure kids are connected to Jesus. He is proud of his family; he has four children and a very supportive wife, Heather. He was recently ordained with the Church of God Mountain Assembly in September of 2022. He has been preaching since he was 13 and also serves as the District Youth Director for the Church of God Mountain Assembly Northeast Ohio District.

Rachel Wells
​Administrator

Rachel started coming to church here when she was 12 years old. She loves volunteering for just about everything and has been doing so since her teen years. She began working part time at The Hill when she was in high school and has been here ever since! She is most likely the person you'll talk to if you call the church. She is also the Administrator for our day care and enjoys supporting our Brimfield Community.

Mike Wells
​Outreach Director

Mike has a great heart for helping people; he is always thinking of new ways to serve! Mike has served on The Hill Experience team in the past and contributes that to be the start of his passion for serving at The Hill. He loves to help people and to be part of events and organizations that help people. If you have a heart for serving in the community, Mike is who you will be working with.

Heather Brode
​First Impressions/The Hill Experience Team

Heather has been attending here at The Hill since 2013. She is married to our Kids' Pastor, Matt, and they have four children. Heather is one of the first faces you'll see when you arrive at The Hill. She and her team can help you find answers to just about anything when you're here; from where the kids' classrooms are to when the next upcoming event takes place! She enjoys going to the gym in her free time and considers working with The Hill Experience team to be one of her greatest accomplishments.

Doug Maggard
​Mens' Leader

Doug has been leading the mens' group for several years. He has been saved since 2004 and has an amazing testimony to share. In addition to leading the mens' group, Doug also serves as a trustee, an usher, and has spent many hours driving van routes to make sure families can be at church. Outside of church and work he loves to spend time with his family and also enjoys watching football!

Judy Everson-Huffman
​Ladies' Leader

Judy has been the ladies group leader for quite a while now. She enjoys traveling with her husband and crafting with her Cricut. She has a true heart for prayer and is always a fun person to talk to. Judy loves to lead our ladies in their walk with the Lord. She also works in the medical field and is proud to have obtained her registry in MRI and CAT scans.

Connect Group Leaders

Mike & Rachel were one of the first couples to help start Connect Groups here at The Hill. They both have a huge desire to see people connected to Jesus through relationship. Mike & Rachel also plan and organize all of our couples events. They were married in 2018...here at The Hill!

Connect Group Leaders

Sam & Judy have been leading a Connect Group at The Hill for a few years now. They have two cats, children that are now grown, and they love traveling together. They both have a great heart for prayer and are happy to stop and pray with you at any time for any reason.
